Experiences & possibilities

Start with people.
Find the right experience.

A team with a purpose. A group with a shared interest. A partner with an idea. There is more than one way to begin with BMWK.

01 / People & purpose

Give your people
something real to share.

A shared task can bring everyday choices into view. Who listens? How does a plan change? What happens when people see things differently?

Alvin draws on his leadership consultancy and facilitation experience to connect activity with reflection. Discuss the purpose first, then shape an experience around your group.

Who it can bring together
Teams, leaders and organisations.
What connects the experience
Practical activity, guided reflection and purposeful contribution.

02 / Shared interests

A hobby can become
a place to belong.

Art, craft or a shared interest gives people an easy place to begin. There is something to try, something to talk about and a reason to meet again.

BMWK’s wider vision includes an active seniors club and exchanges between people from different cultures. Gardening, making and creative hobbies are part of the possibilities Alvin wants to explore.

Who it can bring together
Communities, active seniors and cultural groups.
What connects the experience
Participation, shared skills and time spent learning with others.

03 / Life & adventure

Step outside.
See something differently.

A new setting can invite people to slow down, look closely and ask different questions. Nature study, photography and discovery are among Alvin’s interests for the next chapter.

His ideas also include treasure-hunt expeditions, treehouse living and a village for digital nomads. These need the right people, places and partners to develop.

Who it can bring together
Explorers, makers and project partners.
What connects the experience
Outdoor discovery and ideas for living, learning and connection.

One of Alvin’s pillars

Sand, scale
and shared effort.

Giant sandcastle events and Castles Can Fly are part of Alvin’s work. They offer one setting for mass participation, creativity and leadership learning.

The same conversation still comes first: who is taking part, and what do you hope the experience will make possible?

The way Alvin works

Do. Notice.
Reflect. Apply.

A useful experience needs room to look back and connect what happened to life beyond the activity.

01

Agree the purpose

Start with the group, its interests and what matters to it.

02

Take part and notice

Explore a real activity and the choices people make.

03

Make the connection

Reflect together and consider what to carry forward.

Before we begin

A few practical questions.

Are all of these programmes available now?

Alvin’s facilitation experience and BMWK’s future project ideas sit at different stages. Talk to him about your interest so the scope, current availability and next steps can be agreed.

Where can an experience take place?

Bintan and Batam are central to BMWK’s Kepri plans. Share your location and the setting you have in mind. A venue is agreed for each enquiry.

What about group size, timing and cost?

These depend on the activity, people and setting. Tell Alvin what you are considering so he can discuss a suitable scope with you.

Can people with different needs take part?

Share access, mobility, sensory or other needs at the start. The activity and setting should be considered together before participation is agreed.

The next conversation

What could we
make possible together?

Bring a shared interest, a group or an idea for Kepri. Start with a conversation with Alvin.
